Amazing wholesome good family style cooking !. The staff are impeccable and amazing and attentive. The owner is a very pleasant and down to earth person. She's always visiting with everyone and helping when needed. The fried pickles and every thing else is out of this world !!!!

My oldest son treated me to breakfast at 7 am. We arrived and we warmly greeted, our drinks were given quickly our order was taken. Anticipation set it... we could smell the food. My mouth was watering. Delicious!!! The owner Grace checked on us and was such a sweet woman. We will be back for sure!! Thank you Grits n Grace for the wonderful service,food and experience!!!

Excellent service and food. Casual atmosphere, clean, family friendly.

I've been here twice and both meals were below average. 1st trip tenderloin for sandwich cooked just short of burnt. 2nd trip out of fish special and tenderloin. Cherry pie was homemade and very good with light crust and pleasant tartness.

A hidden gem! Food was excellent and fairly priced. Staff was friendly and food came out quickly. Had old school wooden games for the kids to play instead of mindlessly stairing at tablets!

Home cooked meals. Outstanding service, with the Owner greeting us with Friendly conversation. The food was more than GREAT. I PLAN TO RETURN FOR LUNCH, BREAKFAST, & DINNER.

I ordered the veggie omelette and hashbrowns. The omelette's contents were undercooked and large, and the main ingredient was cheese. The hasbrowns tasted like vegetable oil.

The service is good. The food is good. Friendly staff. This is a very clean place to eat. The only complaint I have, is the overwhelming smell of Grease. When you've left and you get home and your clothes smell like the restaurant you were in is not something that I find appealing. I wish they would get a better Hood in their kitchen. I love how the owner gets into her holidays and decorates accordingly. The grits are out of this world! So, so, good!

I love this restaurant. The food is amazing. The shrimp, the tacos and soup. My favorite is the biscuits and gravy. I could go on and on, and on. I love Gigi to pieces. She's such a hard-working woman and so friendly. She takes the time to come to your table, and every table for that matter to say Hi and confirm your enjoying your meal. Gigi and her staff do an amazing job. Thanks So Much!!!!

Great local restaurant! Courteous and friendly staff, amazing food, and a very relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommend going there to anyone.

Great staff and good ol fashion country cooking.

Rustic/Christian inspired interior and decor. Open floor plan similar to many diners in the area. Servers were friendly but not overly attentive (this is fine).Ordered a full order of biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns (and mandatory coffee and water). Biscuits were pretty big and well textured, high point of the visit. Gravy was pretty easy on the sausage and light on flavor, but nothing a pound of black pepper couldn't fix. Hash browns were super oily, wouldn't recommend. Wife had a veggie omelet, she said there was too much cheese but is not much of a cheese fan, looked pretty good to me.Friendly enough place, but food isn't worth making the drive from out of town. I'd recommend swinging by if it's on the way, but from what we had, there are other places that do this better.

Very nice open and clean atmosphere. Good service. Was able to substitute for no charge. Reasonably priced.

Decided to try this place as something new and was not disappointed! My girls loved their meals as did I. Great portion and the service was awesome. The waitress and the manager were both super nice and checked on us often but not too much. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back!

The owner is always there and comes to your table and checks to make sure you are happy. The place is Very clean. We have had there hamburgers that are high quality local farm raised beef. Not your processed hormone injection unhealthy that everyone else does. Your stomach will Thank you. The seasoned fries are yummm. Can we talk about the onion rings. very good. High quality food in a clean easy to get to establishment!!!! Say hi to Grace she is wonderful!!!

We were there an hour before anyone came to tell us they were out of corn beef for my sandwich. Were there about 25 min before anyone came to take our order. They were very busy but the kitchen didn't tell our waiter the corn beef was all gone u till he went to check to see what was taking so long. Probably go back and see what happens next time.

Grits and Grace has good atmosphere, friendly Waitresses. They have excellent american food. Family friendly, they have games, toys, and coloring books to keep my children ages 1-14 busy while waiting on our food.

Great place all around, their French toast is really special though. I would highly recommend it over other options.

Usually have no complaints. This time it took forever to get a breakfast. The toast was cold and hard, my eggs were overcooked. Not the best I've had there.

Random choice heading south from Oak Grove but so glad we picked it. Friendly staff. Great menu choices. Only place I’ve been where a thin cut ribeye was actually cooked to order. Usually overdone in other places but here it was med-rare as requested. And we were able to park our 35ft 5th wheel along the side. Thank you Gigi!

Amazing service, amazing food. 10/10 recommend. If you want want amazing dining experience with great food and a great atmosphere this is your place. Plus it's locally owned and what's better than supporting our community. Anyways, I can't wait to go back with my husband and kids. We went for lunch this time and now we can't wait to go back for breakfast

This was our second time in, in two weeks, we had my wife and I our four kids, and my in laws. Our first visit the service was great. This evening our food was good except the patty melt was dry and flavorless. Our service was horrible, my father in law was almost done with his meal before getting his dinner roll, one of my sons frys were missed, this could of been a misunderstanding when ordering I will give them that. However my in laws are in four or five times a month, and my father in law told our server he will not return. I will usually give a place a couple visits before I review. I live within a mile of this establishment, and it will be a while before I return also.

Food was alright, service was great. It was a family gathering celebrating a birthday. They went beyond to make the birthday girl feel special. Would recommend it for a group gathering.

Best food in town! The owner is the best great service! Try to eat there when I'm home. If in the area should stop in and have some of the grits you won't be dissatisfied

Walked in today at 1.35 pm. No wait but we stood for 5 minutes while the staff was looking at us and talking. Finally seated at1.47 to hear 3 table's saying they had been there for over an hour. The food did come out to those 3 tables but not every table recieved the food they were expecting all waited longer for there sides. My wife and i ordered the chicken we were afraid of the wait so We ordered something different. I had burger and fries came out in about 15 minutes and was good. Hers came out wrong. She ordered chicken fried chicken dinner and got hot chicken sandwich. She then waited for her sides. Cafe then blamed the cook.

This lil restaurant is tucked in Pleasant Hill Missouri off 7 hwy. The homelike atmosphere is welcoming and the price and quality of the food was impressive. Even with a special request of my meal preparation was met with complete acceptance. A different special every day, I'm looking forward to another meal. I had the meatloaf which is the Wednesday special, and it was delicious. Tacos on Tuesday, primerib on Friday, definitely looking forward to another sit down meal with this family restaurant.

Great food, friendly staff, very reasonably priced. Just an awesome family style restaurant. Might not be the best place if you are in a hurry because everything is made to order and worth the wait !

The place is closed. Planned to eat here before the wrestling tournament today. Ended up at McDonald's where a local said it closed a couple months ago when the property owner raised the rent to where it wasn't profitable.

Good food at a reasonable price!
